Public Speaking Tip: Gratitudes

Gratitude Public Speaking Tip: GratitudesAt some point during the course of your presentation preferably at the beginning, end or both, it is important to show your appreciation to your audience.  Recognize them for sitting and listening attentively to your message, show appreciation for the previous speaker’s message if applicable, and never forget to thank the person who introduces you when you first take the stage.  When you set a tone of respect for the people in the room with you, they reciprocate by showing respect for you.  Don’t bring your ego onstage with you, just your true self and your message.
