Many successful business professionals are at a point in their career where they must present to large groups, be they boards of directors, large groups of their target market audiences, sales teams, and their own staff. Sometimes they're asked to appear on t.v. or radio.  This is because they're incredibly effective at their work. They've achieved great success thus far.  Now they're starting to receive the long-deserved public recognition for that work.

Yet, when it comes to public speaking, they're afraid.  

They dread taking the stage.  

Whether it's an in person or online event, they experience a high amount of stress when it's time to speak in public.  They lose sleep.  They waste time worrying.  They become physically ill.  

In the end, their public speaking performance suffers.  

They aren't seen as a good candidate for guest spots on others' t.v. or radio shows– one that engages the audience and makes the work of the host easy.

They're not asked to represent their company or industry at national speaking events.

They're not seen or heard by a wider national audience.

In this package, we spend a full 10 hours of coaching over a 3 month period to achieve the following:

1) Overcome FEAR.

The first two to three sessions (depending on client's need) of this coaching package is dedicated to examining the source of fears around public speaking by:

• identifying negative self-talk 
• identifying the clients' greatest fears around public speaking
• developing strategies together to stop self- defeating habits and thought patterns

2) Create a system for PREPARATION.

The next three to four sessions will be dedicated to creating a speaking preparation plan.  This will maximize a speaker's self-confidence prior to a public speaking event.   Specifically, during this phase in the coaching program, the client will:  

• learn a step-by-step structure for writing a speech 
• customize that structure to meet their most creative work habits
• develop the content for a speech of one hour in length or three speeches of 15-20 minutes in length
• create a powerful opening
• create a powerful closing with a call to action
• design a daily, weekly, and monthly practice plan.  

Please note:  recordings of the calls during phases 1 and 2 will be made and delivered to the client for their reference.

3)  Practice IMPLEMENTATION.

The remaining sessions will consist of live practice and speech delivery via Skype video conferencing.  The client will present segments of their speech live, and will be given feedback on the following:

• timing
• intonation
• facial expression
• body language
• vocal variety

Please note:  to make these last few coaching sessions truly productive, the client must practice their speech prior to the coaching calls, as agreed upon in the practice plan.

Overall requirement:  a committment on the part of the client to practice and do the homework assignments mutually agreed upon during our coaching sessions.  The coaching sessions will develop a customized program for public speaking success for each individual client and focus on their particular area of weakness around public speaking, but the client must then exercise self-discipline to implement the strategies on a regular, if not daily basis.
